Several years ago, Fred Adler visited the Tel Aviv University campus. He was particularly moved by the university's Museum of the Diaspora.
Fred: The Museum had a great effect on me and influenced my decision to make a lasting contribution to the University.
At age 82, Fred established his first Charitable Gift Annuity with American Friends of Tel Aviv University. Pleased with his first one, he went on to set up three additional CGAs to commemorate his reaching the ages of 84, 85 and 86.
Fred: My late wife Emma and I had no children. We both wanted to leave our money where it will be used well.
As Fred established additional gift annuities year by year, the fixed lifetime annuity rates he earned increased. In addition to receiving substantial tax-free income in each of his annual annuity payments, Fred can claim large income tax charitable deductions for each contribution.
